Originally constructed in 1976, Ely Manor houses three wings with three levels of care: long term care, dementia, and rehabilitation. The project awarded to CD Barnes included a renovation and an addition with the ultimate goal of accommodating 101 beds. The project scope included the remodeling of each wing, offices, and support areas while new construction consisted of an updated street side elevation, roofline, additional office and physical therapy areas. The dining and day rooms received complete makeovers with new fireplaces. Also included were a new nurse’s call, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
