The Landings at Rush Creek

Hudsonville, Michigan – CD Barnes Construction is proud to announce the upcoming groundbreaking for The Landings at Rush Creek, a transformative new residential development located at 6365 Balsam Drive on Hudsonville’s north side. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, July 23 at 10:00 AM at the project site, marking the official start of construction for this long-anticipated community.

 

The $12.7 million project, led by Hudsonville-based developer LaCati Group, will introduce 84 thoughtfully designed one-bedroom townhomes — a housing type currently unavailable in the Hudsonville market. Following the groundbreaking, site work will begin in August, with project completion expected by summer 2026.

 

Spanning 6.9 acres, the development will feature 16 two-story buildings, each townhome offering a private entrance and attached garage — a unique offering for one-bedroom rental homes. Residents will also enjoy a scenic lake, community garden, and a walking trail that connects to regional bike paths, promoting an active and vibrant lifestyle.

Twelve of the 84 units will be income-restricted to meet the growing need for attainable housing in Ottawa County. A housing TIF approved by the city and county, with final review underway by MSHDA, will support up to $5.7 million in eligible costs including site preparation and infrastructure improvements.
