In early 2015, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids began renovating their Paul I. Phillips facility. The club’s primary mission is to help young people reach their full potential as responsible members of the community through education, recreation, and events in partnership with the local police department. With their mission in mind, CD Barnes provided the long overdue updates to their teen center. The renovation included a vast amount of demolition, installation of new cabinets, countertops, doors, windows and flooring, painting, roof repairs, electrical, mechanical and fire alarm system upgrades, and lastly, the install of modernized furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
