Construction has begun on a new $4-million assisted living center in the area. The facility, called Legacies Assisted Living, is being built on a vacant lot in Caledonia, at 9031 N. Rodgers Ct. SE, according to Grand Rapids-based CD Barnes Construction, the contractor on the project.
