Southwestern Michigan College Auto Tech Center

The Auto Tech renovation and expansion project provided both a major 20,000 square foot renovation and a 2,300 square foot addition to the existing A.C. Kairis Building. The renovation incorporated upgrades to the facility’s mechanical, HVAC, electrical and communication systems. Construction of the one-story addition provided flexible instructional classrooms, computer training classrooms/laboratories, staff offices and workrooms to support future technology programs. Exterior finishes consisted of a combination of brick veneers, accent brick banding and insulated thermally broken aluminum windows to match existing finishes.
