Kent City Middle School

The new Kent City Middle School was constructed on the site of the old bus garage area south of the existing high school. The two-story building features a full service kitchen, cafeteria, concession stand, restrooms and gymnasium with an inside walking track and locker rooms. In addition to standard classrooms, the school has three science rooms, an art room, a home economics room, music rooms, a large media center and two computer labs.

In conjunction with the new middle school, CD Barnes also completed a renovation on an existing elementary school by converting the space to house the district’s administrative offices.
