Grandville, MIThis two-story anchor store of Rivertown Crossings Mall was constructed using a precast concrete frame, floor and roof. The exterior architectural design called for cream-colored brick with CMU backup and quarry limestone panels. Interior features included Italian marble aisles, custom casework, an escalator encased by ornamental metal and a glass handrail system, and a glass enclosed passenger elevator. An elaborate 24 foot diameter dome equipped with fiber optic lighting which rotates sixteen colors per hour is the store’s centerpiece.
