Traverse City, MISeveral years after MC Sports closed their doors in Traverse City, the store was divided into two tenant spaces. One of the retailers to secure a spot in the vacant building was Burlington. Even during a pandemic, CD Barnes Construction was able to demo and renovate the space in just three months. In order to stop the spread of COVID, our team scheduled trades strategically as to limit the number of people on the jobsite at one time. Additionally, new procedures were implemented on the project site including the daily screening of workers, requiring masks and social distancing. Through it all, we were able to maintain the project schedule and complete the store on-time.
