Bridgeview Building
Location
Grand Rapids, MIThis building presented several challenges to our team. Built in 1920, it is one of the oldest city buildings in downtown Grand Rapids still in use. It houses the ongoing work of the Traffic and Signal Division, and the city’s main sewer runs under it. After stabilizing the structure, we enlarged all exterior openings by adding new windows and doors. New interior finishes gave the building a contemporary look, while salvaging the original façade to maintain its historic appearance.
