Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 14, 2013 — Todd Oosting, Executive Vice President of CD Barnes Construction announced today that the company was again selected by Milestones Child Development Centers to build a new location for them in Cascade.

“We are very pleased to again be selected by Kelly Russell and the Milestones Child Development Center family to build their new facility in Cascade,” acknowledged Todd Oosting.  He went on to say, “CD Barnes has previously completed an addition to the Belmont center location and renovations to the Caledonia center location, and is thrilled to now have a new construction project for the company.”  Milestone’s currently have a location in Cascade but has out-grown their space. This project, once completed, will take place of the existing location.

The new building will consist of almost 10,000 square feet of classroom space in addition to a kitchen, indoor play area, employee break room and office space. In addition to the nine traditional-type classrooms, there will also be a 427 square foot outdoor classroom. The wooded setting has almost 13,000 square feet of playground area.  This project broke ground in early May and is scheduled for completion in September of this year.
