Grand Rapids, Michigan, September 16, 2014 — Todd Oosting, Executive Vice President of CD Barnes Construction announced today the hiring of Kirt Ojala. Kirt has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Business Development.

Mr. Ojala has spent the last fourteen years working in the real estate and development field for the Hinman Company and Midwest Realty Group. Through his work, and his community involvement with the Commercial Alliance for Realtors, the Grand Rapids Downtown Alliance, the Grand Rapids Investment Board, Ducks Unlimited and the Cascade DDA, Kirt has forged an outstanding reputation as an honest, hard-working business man invested in our community. With the transition, Mr. Ojala will be turning his focus from real estate sales and property management to construction sales.

Mr. Ojala will be responsible for building long-term client relationships. He will work with business owners and leaders looking to build new, add to an existing, or renovate commercial/industrial space in which to operate.
