Grand Rapids, Michigan, January 7, 2016 – In 2008 CD Barnes Construction built an early childhood development center in Hastings, Michigan. Fast-forward to today and the same 10,500 square foot building is being renovated into office space for a local manufacturing company.

The building is owned by Flexfab, a global manufacturer of silicone and polymer products, headquartered in Hastings with additional facilities located in Europe, South America, and China. Flexfab, which employs over 500 personnel at their Hastings location alone, will be utilizing the new space for their purchasing, finance, and I.T. departments. Once the project is complete, the office building will feature typical office spaces, training and conference rooms, restrooms, a kitchen and break area, and storage rooms.
