Grand Rapids, Michigan, May 13, 2019 – Known for their ButterBurgers, Frozen Custard, and Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Culver’s has become a family-favorite restaurant in the Midwest region, and soon Allendale Township will have a Culver’s of their own. Construction has already begun next to the Domino’s pizza at 5128 Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale. The approximately 4,000 square foot restaurant is owned by KBA Restaurant Group and will be operated by local Drew Langstraat. Construction and architectural services are being provided by CD Barnes Construction and Architectural Concepts, respectively. The newest Culver’s location will feature a drive through, and construction is expected to be completed by the fall. The independently owned restaurants pride themselves on the continued support of local education, smart farming and community-wide programs that encourage and strengthen the communities in which they operate. Furthermore, one way that Culver’s sets themselves apart from the rest of the restaurant industry is their commitment to minimizing their impact on the environment. For example, Culver’s works closely with the U.S. Green Building Council to analyze operational efficiencies such as utilizing solar panels that double as patio awnings to supplement their electrical supply.
