Grand Rapids, Michigan, August 5, 2019 – Byron Center based Circuit Electric received CD Barnes Construction’s Key to Our Success Award for the third quarter of 2019. “Our company would not be what it is today without the dedication of our subcontractor partners,” said Kirt Ojala, Director of Client Services at CD Barnes. “We want to show them just how important they are to us; they are the key to our success.”

Circuit Electric was nominated for the award based on their work at the Aldi renovation in Plainwell in which CD Barnes was the General Contractor. John Maycroft, CD Barnes’ Project Manager on the Aldi project, noted numerous reasons for choosing Circuit Electric for the award. “The Circuit Electric crew knew their scope of work for the project better than most trades. They knew what needed to be done and didn’t require constant supervision, which frees up our site guys to handle other issues that may require their attention.” Most importantly, John pointed out, “their team was always on schedule.
